Keep informed of the news at all times without having to stop working.

RSS Balloon Reader is a simple news reader compatible with any browser. It shows you each message in a balloon on the Windows taskbar.

With RSS Balloon Reader you can keep up to date of all the news that interests you, without having to leave your desktop or program you´re working with. To increase the news it shows you, just click on the balloon to get more.

It is simple to use, just right click on the icon and you´ll get a menu with all the available options. Thus, for example, you have the option to select channels, with which you get an on-screen list of available channels, among which you´ll find ones like BBC News or Slashdot.

You also have a message history where all the entry messages are stored, so you can view them at any moment. You can configure the frequency the messages appear, or, if you prefer, you can configure RSS Balloon Reader via a GUI or using XML files.
